Flour

I had been planning this photoshoot for a long time. The first moment I saw that kitchen, I knew I would have to photograph it. I liked all about it! The modern style and its minimalism, the light which was casted exactly as I needed, an old table... And then the idea started to grow. I was sure the perfect model for that shoot would be Karolina. Before I even told her, all the details about her looks were already there in my mind. And when I presented her my idea, she agreed :) 

The photoshoot itself was a great fun! It was also a GREAT mess ;) The flour was hanging all over the kitchen. And all over Karolina and me. I loved the moment when she struck the table with her fists and you could see that white powder bursting into the air! When we finished there was a thick layer of flour waiting to be cleaned. And this is the moment which is the least pleasure - tidying after the photoshoot... But still, it was definitely worth it.

Chciałabym Wam przedstawić 7 szczególnych dla mnie mężczyzn, których miałam okazję spotkać na swojej fotograficznej drodze. Każdy z nich na swój sposób przyczynił się do doskonalenia mojego warsztatu, za co jestem im wszystkim i każdemu z osobna ogromnie wdzięczna! :*

To dzięki namowom jednego z nich, stałam się posiadaczem lustrzanki, która sprawiła, że fotografia pochłonęła mnie bez reszty. Od każdego usłyszałam wiele o sprzęcie, o technicznej stronie fotografii, jak i o kadrowaniu, o wszystkim o czym trzeba pomyśleć zanim nacisnę migawkę, potem o obróbce; nie wspominając o bardzo konstruktywnej krytyce. Dzięki nim miałam okazję pracować w profesjonalnym studio, jak i tworzyć coś z niczego, czyli radzić sobie bez sprzętu za tysiące złotych. Dostałam cenne wskazówki krok po kroku śledząc reportaż ślubny. Miałam możliwość skorzystać ze sprzętu, którego sama nie mogłam mieć. Dziękuję Wam za wszystko!

It was an amazing feeling to have a photoshoot on location for the first time this spring! I've nearly forgotten how much I loved it!! And this is just the beginning of warm and nice days. So many more photoshoots to come. I'm already looking forward to it! :)))
